What I Made
Two years ago this week I was 60 pounds heavier and the house was clean and quiet. Now I find myself slimmer, but only due to cleaning up and running after a “high energy child,” as my nanny puts it. My Lucy Bear is getting bigger and smarter everyday. So, of course, we need to celebrate her 2nd birthday in grand fashion! I spent the weekend scouring thrift shops for fun decorations...

In my research...
This week I’ve been doing a bit of antiquing…online. Not as fun as scouring a dusty old attic, but cleaner and easier. Here is an Early Deco quilt from 1stDibs - cream background with brown airplanes make this contrasting quilt the perfect backdrop for a crib (secured firmly until he or she starts yanking on it, of course).
